Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed, using proper safety protocols
• Educate young patients and their families on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in a timely manner
• Provide a welcoming, comforting, and fun atmosphere for children and their parents

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification as required by Wisconsin state regulations
• Prior experience in a dental office, preferably with pediatric patients
• BLS/CPR certification
• Radiography (X-ray) certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach, especially with children
