Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and scaling to maintain patient oral health
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques for long-term wellness
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records
• Sterilize equipment and uphold a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact privilege if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients

Education

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, instruments, and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Meticulous attention to infection control and safety protocols
