Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and overall health
• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
• Document patient care and update dental records accurately
• Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment following all protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Skill in patient assessment and charting
• Familiarity with digital radiography and dental software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interactions
