Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures with a friendly and reassuring approach
• Assist the orthodontist with braces adjustments, aligner fittings, and other treatments
• Take and develop dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Provide patients with clear instructions on oral hygiene and care after procedures
• Sterilize and organize instruments to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
• Document patient information accurately using Denticon software

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid orthodontic certification
• Dental assistant certification or equivalent training (preferred)
• Experience working in an orthodontic practice is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• CPR certification (a plus)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
• Familiarity with dental software such as Denticon
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment
• Empathy and patience when working with patients
