Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all orthodontic instruments are sterilized and ready for each patient
• Assist the orthodontist with procedures, from initial exams to bracket placement and adjustments
• Take and process dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care to ensure the best possible outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Provide a warm, reassuring presence to help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid orthodontic assisting certification
• Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
• Familiarity with dental software such as Denticon is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Attention to detail in infection control and sterilization protocols
