Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dental hygiene care using 30-minute appointment slots
• Work alongside a dedicated dental assistant for smooth patient flow
• Focus on preventive cleanings and patient education (no x-rays or exams required)
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clinical records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to keep every patient protected
• Collaborate with the dental team to create a welcoming experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• A caring, patient-centered approach
• Comfortable working efficiently in a backfill assignment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental prophylaxis and preventive care
• Familiarity with dental charting and patient records
• Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
• Excellent time management for 30-minute patient appointments
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
