Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• Document patient care and maintain accurate dental records
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical experience providing dental hygiene services
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental instruments, X-ray equipment, and sterilization techniques
• Knowledge of dental software and patient management systems
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients and colleagues
