Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take dental x-rays and impressions accurately
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain patient records and update treatment plans
• Provide exceptional patient care and comfort throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• X-ray certification and proficiency in taking radiographs
• Experience with orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Denticon
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of orthodontic instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in digital radiography and impression taking
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
