Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable patient experience
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed, helping to capture perfect images for diagnoses
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and oral hygiene, empowering them to smile brighter
• Chart treatment progress accurately using Denticon software, keeping records up-to-date
• Manage patient flow and appointment scheduling to keep the office running seamlessly

Qualifications

• You must be a certified orthodontic dental assistant - bring on that expertise!
• Experience with Denticon software is required, so you'll hit the ground running
• Current BLS/CPR certification is a plus, because safety matters
• Strong communication and patient care skills to make everyone feel at ease
• Ability to work the Monday, October 19, 2026 shift - mark your calendar!

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental terminology
• Proficient in dental radiography (x-rays), ensuring quality images every time
• Skilled in Denticon practice management software for efficient charting and scheduling
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills to build trust and rapport
• Attention to detail for accurate charting and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols to keep everyone safe
