Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and record dental X-rays and impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain patient records and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification required
• Orthodontic certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience working in a dental office
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Proficient in dental software and record keeping
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages
