Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental hygiene services including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Assist dentists during procedures and maintain a sterile work environment
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
• Experience with dental software and digital x-rays
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
