Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with compassion and professionalism
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Maine (or compact state if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Compassionate patient care with a focus on safety and dignity
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
