Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional critical care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced life support procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
• Influenza vaccination (required by State of Maine)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and code response
• Proficiency with EMR systems (training provided if needed)
• Excellent assessment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
