Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety
Screen patients for MRI contraindications and maintain a safe magnetic environment
Position patients accurately and administer contrast agents as directed
Review images for quality, document procedures, and collaborate with radiologists
Maintain equipment cleanliness, report malfunctions, and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

Current ARRT (R) certification in MRI or eligibility to obtain
BLS certification required (AHA or equivalent)
At least 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience preferred
Ohio state license or ability to obtain prior to start
Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of MRI safety practices and contraindications
Proficient in operating various MRI scanners and associated software
Excellent verbal communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to manage time efficiently and handle high volume of scans
Understanding of anatomy and positioning for optimal imaging
