Shift Type: Shift 2, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
  • Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
  • Observe and document resident condition and behavior, communicating any concerns promptly
  • Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents and families
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalized, high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in New Hampshire or Vermont
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new grads are welcome
  • Must provide a state or federal issued ID for badging
  • Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or hold a documented medical/religious exemption (additional doses as required by law)
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to quality resident care

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail for accurate documentation and vital signs
  • Empathy and patience when caring for others
  • Basic computer skills for electronic health records
