Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the Cost Accounting system and own monthly service line and physician practice Profit & Loss statements to drive transparent performance insights.
• Lead use and maintenance of the STRATA decision support and forecasting modules, validating cost structures and feasibility study outputs.
• Produce financial feasibility and reimbursement templates that calculate ROI, payback, NPV, IRR and other metrics for capital project evaluation.
• Partner with leadership to review service line profitability and help design performance improvement plans for underperforming areas.
• Oversee reporting to external rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA) and prepare required documentation for audits and renewals.
• Train managers and directors on productivity and decision support tools and manage ad hoc reporting requests.
• Mentor the supervisor of decision support and the special projects analyst to build a high-performing team.
• Provide oversight and support for software implementations including ERP, leasing software, and STRATA forecast module integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and/or decision support (explicit).
• Experience with STRATA financial software or similar decision support/financial planning tools (required).
• Demonstrated healthcare experience, preferably in hospitals or healthcare contracting and reimbursement.
• Preferred: Master Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration and financial or healthcare certifications.
• Comfort leading cross-functional teams and presenting to senior leadership and external agencies.
