Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings, polishings, and fluoride treatments to promote oral health
• Take and interpret dental radiographs with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or willing to obtain reciprocity)
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner
• Experience with dental software preferred, but on-the-job training is available

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy and hygiene procedures
• Skill in using dental instruments and x-ray equipment
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
