Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide gentle and effective dental hygiene care to pediatric patients
- Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene habits
- Perform cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
- CPR certification required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and behavior management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with children and parents
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and infection control protocols
