Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Carmichael, California
Start Date: 08-04-2026
End Date: 11-03-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $94.43 - $70.7 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department
- Assess, triage, and treat a wide range of medical emergencies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and manage ventilators as needed
- Float to other Sacramento facilities as required
Qualifications
- 2 years of emergency department experience
- Current RN license in California
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Level II trauma experience preferred but not required
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted
- BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment
- Proficient in Cerner EMR
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of telemetry and vent management
