Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic oral hygiene care to patients
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Promote a positive and comfortable experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
- Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of dental software and patient management systems
- Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent patient education and chairside manner
