Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Thursday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and provide expert pharmaceutical care
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
Monitor and manage inventory to maintain seamless pharmacy operations

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in Florida or compact eligibility
Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution (PharmD preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible shifts including Thursdays with later hours

Education

PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and compounding
Proficiency with pharmacy management software and EHR systems
Understanding of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
Strong customer service and patient counseling skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
