Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures for pediatric patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide comfort and reassurance to young patients in a kid-friendly environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or license as required by Wisconsin state
• Previous experience in a dental office, especially pediatric, is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Radiology certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in dental software for scheduling and charting
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children and parents
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
