Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 10-hour shifts including weekends as needed, no on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans for a diverse patient population in an acute hospital setting
Operate advanced Canon and Toshiba CT equipment following radiologist protocols
Perform venipuncture and administer contrast as needed
Create advanced 3D reconstructions, MIP, and MPR images
Assist with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainages
Provide critical imaging support for trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases

Qualifications

Active Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT))
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of CT experience in an acute hospital setting
Ability to work independently and perform routine and complex scans per protocol

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT scanning protocols and radiation safety
Experienced with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT systems, and Vitrea workstation
Skilled in venipuncture, contrast administration, and 3D imaging techniques
Knowledge of MIP, MPR, and advanced reconstruction
Familiar with biopsy, drainage, vascular, and cardiac imaging procedures
