Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion Genesis systems
• Support fast, accurate diagnoses in a Level I Trauma center
• Position and prepare patients for scans while ensuring their comfort and safety
• Administer contrast material through venipuncture and monitor patients for reactions
• Collaborate with board-certified radiologists and registered technologists
• Participate in on-call coverage to keep imaging services available around the clock

Qualifications

• 12+ months of recent, hands-on CT experience
• Experience with Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion Genesis equipment
• Active ARRT (CT), California CRT license, and Venipuncture Certificate
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Recent experience in a Level I Trauma facility (within 6 months; 1 year preferred)
• Available to work weekends, on-call, and travel assignments (30+ miles from Colton)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of CT protocols, 3D imaging, and coronary screening
• Skilled in venipuncture and IV contrast administration
• Familiarity with 64-slice scanners and bariatric patient positioning
• Understanding of ACR accreditation standards and radiation safety
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced trauma environment
