Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
Support nursing staff with documentation, basic treatments, and care plans
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
Active, unrestricted license and ability to meet state registry requirements
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background/health screenings
Reliable attendance and ability to complete an 8-hour shift
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude
Basic charting/documentation experience; prior long-term care experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and mobility support
Ability to take and record vitals accurately
Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Teamwork, time management, and respectful resident-centered communication
