Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility safely
Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nurse
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
Document care accurately and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in PA)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a caring attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts including weekends if needed

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completed CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and infection control
Skill in safe patient transfers and proper body mechanics
Comfort with charting and basic electronic documentation
Good observational skills to notice changes in patient condition
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from the nursing team
