Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Measure and record vital signs, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, following facility policies
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Document care activities accurately and promptly in resident records

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on facility policy)
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused attitude
Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification in PA required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and basic nursing assistant duties
Vital signs measurement and documentation best practices
Infection control, safety protocols, and proper PPE use
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic or paper resident records
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
