Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient dignity and comfort
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to reduce risk
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Help keep patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and well-stocked

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing (state-required credentials)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication skills and basic charting/record-keeping ability

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed State-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Infection prevention and control practices
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Basic electronic or paper charting and documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
