Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and colleagues
Work collaboratively with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Comfortable working an 8-hour shift and standing for extended periods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — compassion goes a long way
Ability to pass background check and drug screen per facility policy
BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program and current state CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Clear, professional documentation and reporting
Teamwork, time management, and dependable work habits
