Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor residents' condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, feeding and toileting with dignity and respect
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Support safe transfers and maintain a safe, clean environment
Collaborate with nurses, therapists and family members to promote the best outcomes
Participate in facility initiatives to improve quality of care and resident satisfaction

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania) required
High school diploma or GED preferred
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and able to meet the physical demands of the role
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
Previous CNA experience preferred but caring attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire if required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to safely assist with transfers, mobility and ambulation
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
