Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
Take and document vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and care notes
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania state certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and patient transfers
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable attendance and ability to travel to facility at 500 Lewis Run Road, Pittsburgh

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
Infection control and safety procedures
Accurate documentation and charting
Time management and ability to prioritize
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
