Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, supporting activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility
Measure and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate effectively with the care team and report changes in patient condition
Support patient nutrition and hydration needs as directed
Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and standards

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or license (required)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with assisting patients with ADLs and mobility
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Teamwork and the ability to follow clinical directions
Basic understanding of safety procedures and patient handling
