Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the medical record
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Help create a comfortable, dignified environment for patients and their families
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state credentialing
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic medical records
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Time management and prioritization under shifting workloads
