Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with routine tasks to support smooth, safe patient care
Monitor and report changes in resident condition promptly and accurately
Maintain resident dignity and comfort while following individualized care plans
Document care provided in a clear, timely manner to support continuity
Adhere to infection control practices and facility policies to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting preferred
Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute as part of a close-knit care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and team members
Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
