Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, supporting independence and dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes promptly
Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Support safe patient transfers and positioning in collaboration with the care team
Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain before start)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Demonstrated patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively on a care team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-recognized CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with patient bathing, toileting, feeding, and ambulation
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of infection control best practices
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support patients with compassion
Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff
