Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Maintain a clean and safe environment to support patient recovery
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to coordinate care
Support a culture of teamwork by stepping in to help where needed

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or license, valid for practice in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
CPR or BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with basic patient care tasks and able to follow care plans
Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently when needed
Background check and any required facility screenings completed prior to start

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
Basic clinical skills such as vital signs, toileting assistance, and safe transfers
Infection control best practices and attention to cleanliness
Good observation skills and clear documentation habits
Ability to follow direction from nursing staff and escalate concerns promptly
Time management and task prioritization in a busy care setting
