Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and positioning while following facility protocols
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Create a welcoming environment by engaging residents in conversation and meaningful activities

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/vaccinations
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team setting
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not mandatory

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and resident mobility techniques
Infection control and standard precautions
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Safe patient handling and transfer knowledge
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
