Shift Type: Variable 8-hour shifts; exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed with the facility (8-hour shift length indicated)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in resident condition
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and cooperatively with nurses, therapists, residents, and families
Support documentation and charting so the care team has accurate, up-to-date information

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Valid CNA registration/license for Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain one
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Successful background check and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of resident care and basic medical terminology
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Ability to accurately take and record vital signs and basic observations
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Basic documentation skills; willingness to learn facility charting systems
