Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and feeding with dignity
Measure and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nurse in charge
Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and care plans
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Support team goals by pitching in during busy times and problem-solving proactively

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative care team
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (typical requirement for CNAs)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
Able to accurately measure and report vital signs and observations
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Good charting and documentation practices
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Reliable time management and the ability to follow care plans
