Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with the facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers, following facility protocols
Document care provided accurately and on time to maintain excellent resident records
Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, home-like environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Background check and immunizations as required by facility policy
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude; prior long-term care experience is a plus

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of safe patient handling and basic infection control practices
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and observing resident needs
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans
Strong interpersonal skills to support residents and families
