Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting daily living activities
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility needs
Document care in a timely, clear, and professional manner
Communicate effectively with nurses, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Contribute to a positive, person-centered environment that preserves resident dignity

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (state of Pennsylvania)
Minimum of one year of direct care experience preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Able to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident-centered care principles and basic nursing procedures
Skill in taking vitals and recognizing clinical changes
Comfortable with charting and basic electronic documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Understanding of infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
