Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to prevent falls and injuries
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification for Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working directly with residents and following care plans
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a care team
Reliable, professional, and committed to quality resident care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and observation/reporting of resident changes
Infection control principles and safe hand hygiene practices
Safe patient handling and transfer assistance
Basic documentation and charting practices; good attention to detail
Compassionate, resident-centered communication and teamwork
