Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shift (total hours: 8). Exact start and end times and days are determined by the facility schedule and will be confirmed with the hiring manager.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents — assist with ADLs like bathing, dressing, and mobility
Observe, document and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Follow care plans and participate in team huddles to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Prior CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is a plus
Clear background check and ability to pass required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Comfort with basic patient lifting and mobility assistance

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic caregiving principles and infection control
Ability to accurately document care and follow care plans
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Familiarity with facility policies and resident rights
