Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support meal service and assist residents with feeding as needed
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control practices
Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with the care team
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families to promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active Pennsylvania CNA listing or ability to obtain state listing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and drug screen as required by facility
Dependable, compassionate, and able to pass any required physical/health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong resident-centered care skills with attention to detail
Basic clinical skills: vitals, ADL assistance, safe transfers
Good communication and teamwork skills for working with nurses and families
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable using charting systems or learning electronic health records
