Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, making every day kinder and safer
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with dignity and respect
Accurately take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support excellent care
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection-control procedures
Document care and incidents in the chart promptly and professionally

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate direct care and work well in a team
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (assisting patients, transfers) and basic documentation
Good communication skills and punctual, reliable attendance

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection-control practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with charting/documentation and following care plans
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide person-centered care
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks on a busy unit
