Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Help keep patient rooms clean, stocked, and comfortable to promote healing

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to fulfill assigned shift commitments

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and infection control practices
• Skill in taking vital signs and observing/reporting clinical changes
• Ability to perform safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Familiarity with patient documentation and basic charting
• Teamwork mindset and good interpersonal/customer service skills
