Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Support team communication by accurately documenting care and shift reports
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families to enhance overall care experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — active in Pennsylvania or eligible to transfer
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic clinical tasks
• Background check and health screenings (immunizations/TB) as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection prevention and universal precautions
• Basic charting and documentation (electronic or paper charting experience is a plus)
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate clinical changes appropriately
• Team collaboration, time management, and a calm bedside manner
