Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes dignity and comfort
Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Support documentation in the patient record accurately and timely
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs

Qualifications

Current, valid CNA certification for Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Minimum experience as a CNA preferred but new graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable with physical aspects of patient care including lifting and transfers
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and personal hygiene assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection control practices and PPE usage
Clear, professional communication with patients and team members
Basic electronic health record (EHR) familiarity or willingness to learn
