Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members
Support a positive patient experience through respectful communication and empathy
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state-required certifications and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by the employer
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) may be requested or required by facility
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a healthcare team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, toileting)
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Good charting and documentation practices
Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused mindset
