Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices with attention to patient dignity
Assist the care team with documentation, handoffs, and communication to ensure continuity of care
Help create a welcoming, respectful environment for residents and families
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
License or certification valid for practice in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain PA certification
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting and collaborating with clinical teams
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Ability to take vital signs, assist with ADLs, and document care accurately
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic understanding of patient safety, mobility assistance, and fall prevention
